All rules listed here apply to all members on ZombieV. Everyone is to read these rules to maintain the healthiest server environment. ZombieV staff reserve the right to change or modify any rule as they see fit.

Respect All Users
Everyone playing is a human, please treat each other respectfully. Please be mindful of your communication, and respectful to others. We will not tolerate the following:

  • Toxicity
  • General discrimination
  • Offensive remarks
  • Provocative communication
  • Harassment
Sensible, well thought-out speech will make everyone’s day a lot better. Please remember that the server is a public service, and there are plenty of players who are similar to you on the other side of the screen.

Respect Staff Members
All decisions made by staff members are considered a final solution, so please do not argue about any of the decisions made. If you feel like you have been wrongly punished or treated in any way, please make a report or appeal on our forums, or send a member of the administrative team a message. Any form of communication that can be considered flame, rage, toxic, or detrimental to the community will result in a restriction on your account.

Regarding Scamming
It may not be pleasant to be scammed by another player, but it is impossible for us to stop. Therefore if you are a victim of being scammed, please report the player with valid proof. You may be declined if you do not have valid proof for your report.

If you wish to make a safe trade with other players, you can use the ingame trade option. (/trade)

Please not impersonate of pretend to be a staff member. Staff members can be recognized by the red prefix/tag on their names. Do not pretend to be something you’re not. This includes falsifying information about relationships with staff members (ex: family or friends).

We have no problem with players helping other players, we encourage it and there’s nothing wrong with it. However, please do not act as though you are a staff member. This is a form of impersonation, even though you may explicitly state that you are not related to the staff team. We ask that you do not answer questions you are unsure of or state server-related speculations that not been confirmed.

If your plan is to apply for staff in the future, but start off by helping others, that’s wonderful. However please respect that you are not staff yet, therefore should not act or answer questions like one. We welcome and encourage gameplay-related help and assistance, which promotes community and an enjoyable environment. We do not encourage commanding attitudes and server-related assumptions.

Do not Spam or Use Excessive Capitals
Spam or use of excessive capital letters is not allowed. We consider spam to be messages of the similar nature repeated consecutively. Messages consisting of a large amount of capital letters also follow this category, and is considered spam. Multiple staff members may consider spam differently, please respect their judgement.

PG-13 Discussion and Content
Profane content is strictly prohibited. Please be mindful of other people when speaking in chat. This follows the rules with respecting players and staff. We ask all players to refrain from using profane or offensive language. We refer to the PG-13 tag similarly to that of movie ratings, specifically to chat context. We don’t want to have to police the chat and punish offenders with an iron fist, but we do ask all players to maintain the friendly atmosphere on all server features.

Offensive Skins, Capes and Usernames
Offensive skins, capes and usernames are strictly forbidden. This includes things that are racist, offensive or sexually explicit. Content of this nature may receive a warning, but further consequences will include restrictions on the account.

Do Not Advertise
Advertising any server in-game or on the forums or in Discord is not allowed. Any self-respecting server understands this, and all good servers share some form of mutual respect. Please do not ruin that.

Client Modifications & Hacks
The use of client modifications for Minecraft is strictly forbidden and enforced. Anything that gives a significant advantage to the user or to their peers is considered an illegal modification to the client. Anything that also changes the way the user’s client communicates with the server is also strictly forbidden.

We allow the following categories of modifications:

  • Performance, graphics, and aesthetics modifications
  • Armor, status, and HUD modifications (That do not give a massive advantage)
  • Minimap modifications that are purely ground-maps
  • Recipe modifications
Any category other than these are considered illegal. If you have any modifications that you may be curious about, please contact a staff member. Responsibility of using these are completely on the player.

The use of third party software that gives a significant advantage to the user or to their peers is also strictly forbidden, This includes the use of macros or hotkeys that trigger automated clicks, movements on a more than 1 to 1 ratio (1 input = 1 output), and anything similar.

If you find anyone breaking the rules, please report them using the ticketing system here. Please be mindful and respectful of all players – crude comments about hacking fall under the spam and disrespect category.

Do Not Cheat or Exploit
Cheating and exploiting includes using any sort of unfair advantage. This includes hacked clients, forbidden modifications, and any form of bug or glitch. This also includes pretending to hack and or saying you hack in any form.

Regarding Account Security and Sharing
You are responsible for the security and usage of your ZombieV and Minecraft account. It doesn’t matter if anyone else uses the account through any means, you are still responsible. We consider the account as one user and will act accordingly. To avoid any problems, please do not share your account. If the account is shared, and one person breaks the rules, the punishment goes to the account, regardless of account ownership. Consider changing your password frequently to a secure alternative, and never give your password out.

ZombieV staff will never ask for your account information. There is nothing we can do with it.

Regarding Alternate Accounts
We do allow the use of more than one alternate account. If you are banned or muted on an account and access the server on an alternative account attempting to bypass this restriction, you will be muted, banned or blacklisted. Evading is strictly forbidden.

Regarding Trade of ZombieV Merchandise
ZombieV staff do not take responsibility for the trade of any ZombieV merchandise on the web-shop or in-game. Therefore, we are not liable for any returns if any goods or valuables are lost during a trade. However, the scammer may be banned if there is proof. This ban is permanent!

Any purchases bought and not received by the paid party is under our responsibility. The player is to create a ticket here.
By creating a ticket, your purchase will be reviewed and hopefully returned. The staff does not have any authority in any matter regarding purchases.

Regarding Mutes
When you are muted, it means we restricted your access to send messages in the chat. If you find a way around this and still send a message to anyone on the server, you could be banned.
